Chocolatefest comes to Hershey Lodge
Necessity Human Services presents its 17th Annual Chocolatefest on Sunday, Jan. 29 in the Huge American Hall of the Hershey Lodge. All proceeds from the event benefit Crux Human Services and their nonprofit agencies.
Chocolatefest begins with the Debut from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. This exclusive event offers a full preview of Chocolatefest with the added features of champagne, wine and hors d'oeuvres. A cube competition, sponsored by Harrisburg Magazine, will take place and attendees will see first-will who wins the grand prize. The cost of the premiere event is $50 per grown-up and $5 per child.
Chocolatefest offers two general sessions. The first panoramic session begins at 1:00 p.m. and runs until 2:45 p.m. The second across the board session is from 3:15 p.m. through 5 p.m. Local high school students lend ongoing entertainment with jazz bands from Central Dauphin and Mechanicsburg High-frequency School. More than 75 vendors (chocolatiers) will be offering both chocolate and non-chocolate foods to drop. Some of the chocolatiers include Matangos Candy, GIANT Foods, Appalachian Brewing Actors, Arooga's, Hershey Lodge, Hershey Entertainment Complex and The Hotel Hershey.
