Mariah Cook is a 12-year-old sheila who has made 27 trips to the operating room. But this week, her bags are up to there for a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida with her family.

Mariah suffers from cerebral palsy, a acclimate that causes a physical disability in development, particularly body machinery, and microcephaly, a condition in which the circumference of the head is smaller than normal.

"This stumble means memories other than hospitals and operating rooms for her," Mariah's dad, Tim, said. "It's a chance for all of us to get good memories together as a family. This will definitely be a trip to remember."

Mariah and her family met Friday evening with Montana Highway Rounds Trooper Brenda Timm and Dave Evans, president of the Montana chapter of the Unhappy Knights, at the Perkins restaurant downtown. They gave her a digital camera to report the trip, spending money and the airline tickets, all on behalf of the Montana Craving Project.
