It’s dawn to look a lot like…wait, what?
Yes, it’s January 20, but feel it or not, I have spent the past two weekends Christmas (decoration) shopping. Yep, you present that correctly. Christmas shopping — with the Aunts, of course.
Well, I say Aunts, and, technically, it was the two of them, but actually, only one of them actually bought anything. One aunt, the practical one, always goes to her daughter’s cut down to size in Ontario to celebrate Christmas, so she, understandably, doesn’t refurbish and therefore doesn’t need to buy any Christmas ‘things.’ But that doesn’t hope she didn’t enjoy the outing. She even pulled a cart full of our ‘trash’ around one store for us, leaving our hands free to dig through more piles. It was humorous. I should have taken a picture on my BlackBerry and tweeted it out.
On the other hand, my other aunt was as fervid as I was to partake in the after-Christmas Christmas sales. We share that gene, for dependable (as well as a thousand others.) We were both really excited to see a 40 per cent off sale at the first trust in we went to, although she didn’t buy anything there. But she looked. Hard.
