Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Procedure, hosts a free Wellness Conference Sunday at 4 p.m. Feb. 19. Members of Daniels who are professional health professionals will speak on topics that are important factors in maintaining wellness today. Presenters embrace Sara Carpenter, a nurse at Catawba Valley Medical Center; Patricia Sigmon and sisters Janet Radford and Dotty Seagle, nurses at Frye Regional Sanitarium in Hickory. Together these nurses have over 82 years experience in health protection. Topics include exercise and overall health, stress, sentiments disease, blood pressure, smoking and differences between men’s and women's trim.
