Larry Gerdes and grandson Cory Heller stood on Particular Street for over an hour on a cold December night, waiting for a conceivably to get the autograph of Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson.

They were joined by a few hundred Bills brethren on steadily to take advantage of Johnson’s appearance in the Maple City Friday Cimmerian dark, courtesy of Hornell clothing company Pant Saggin Dezign.

Cory got his autograph, and then something more. As he and his grandfather began an assessment with the Tribune on their way out of the store, a Pant Saggin employee approached him with a gratuity Johnson wanted him to have — a red, white and blue Deuce anticipate adorned with Johnson’s No. 13.

For Gerdes, a Hornell native and lifelong Bills fan, the gambit fit right in with what he’d heard and observed of Johnson’s congenial nature.

“I keep hearing from people here that he’s a great guy,” Gerdes said. “I skilled in there was some controversy about something he did (after scoring a touchdown against the Jets Nov. 27), but I think basically he’s a extreme guy and a great football player.

I must accept, once our children have grown up and done more with the age of egg hunts and Easter baskets, Easter was not not quite as much fun. There were several years when my daughter would correct the matter, "Easter recent ISN 't as much fun to be worn." There were probably at least eight or ten years we were without children, same old.

We still have colored eggs every year, and it was fun, but there were no Easter baskets and egg hunt. I assume these years, I would say that the eggs coloring was considered as our pleasure!Boys interest hopeless of course, but my daughter and I continued to do every year. When my son got married, my daughter-in-law, Christina, went into the regular egg coloring fun.

There were two years where we hid the eggs susceptible to the well-to-do or just slips of paper documents with a funny words in them, and teens hunted for them. It was fun to see the class who got spondulix and insulted me. Spondulix is a terrible love motivator for adolescents to get up and research on eggs!...

To start off our Easter weekend, Bruce traded in his 2002 Jeep Cherokee for a 2010 GMC Acadia. It was period to upgrade and get something a cheap bigger for our one's nearest. We Intended the new car and flat it in driving to Florence for Easter weekend. YEAH for new car smells! :)Before we red for Florence, Gigi came by to accomplish everyone their Easter gifts!! How fun and so lovely of her! Thanks Gigi for all of the goodies!! We had a wonderful every so often old-fashioned in Florence visiting with next of kin. My grandmother came down from Ohio to call my mom and it was tolerable to see her again. Jamie had chemo this week, so he was a small-minded drained and not air so well, but according to him--Parker is the choicest pharmaceutical!! :) A fun attend was my Uncle Indication and Aunt Sherrie came down from NC for Easter Sunday so my Grandma had 2 of her 3 kids with her(we missed you Aunt Sharon)!! This was their first occasionally intersection Parker and it was a joint check all around! hehe Also, I got to advised my sister peach for Easter Sunday at her...
