This look over is probably running two weeks early. My bad. I couldn’t resist difficult MShack Burgers, Shakes and More in Atlantic Beach almost as soon as it opened.

Any front-of-the-bagnio problems will be worked out. The food was spot on from the very start.

Burgers and fries, once the dimensions of my dining range when in college (OK, throw in a pile of pizzas and a weighty flock of chicken wings), has taken on a less valuable spot in the monthly menu. Go hungry food and I are keeping each other at arm’s distance. Now, I have found a spot to feed my burger and fries craving without sense of touch as if I’ve cheated on a loved one.

When New York restaurateur Danny Meyer, proprietress of high-end restaurant destinations like Union Square and Gramercy Tavern, opened his Worry Shack hamburger stand, it immediately had people lined up for a calibre burger and extraordinary fries. Jacksonville’s answer to Meyer — Matthew and David Medure — are bringing the concept of the epicure burgers to our area. Best of all, you can get a great burger experience and not intrude the bank.
