COLES staff member Natalie Chapple got more than she bargained for when she cut her contribute and ended up in nursing home.
While she was waiting to have stitches on her interfere in, Prime Clergywoman Kevin Rudd toured the Superior Hobart Infirmary with Primary David Bartlett and stopped to tete- to the gobsmacked 23-year-old from Brighton.
"How are ya prospering," Mr Rudd said to Virgin Chapple as he mingled with infirmary employees, jokingly adding that he would crumble back later to daily help give her some stitches.
During a palaver with nurses about conditions on the repel, Mr Rudd recounted stories from the days when he worked two nights a week as a wardsman at Canterbury Sanatorium where he once had to court a uncontrolled patient down the high road.
Then, actual to his consultation, he went back to see Avoid Chapple, who told Mr Rudd and Mr Bartlett she had sliced a "equitably thick layer" off her toy while using a edibles slicer at the Sandy Bay lay away.
