I justifiable tried logging on XBL a few days ago to see what I could do with Silver (first time since I’ve been back in the states). Nothing. Not even Netflix. It’s bad enough that they had to hike XBL’s prices, weight for online gaming, etc., but forcing you to subscribe for things like Netflix (which works right-minded as fine on PS3 for no extra charge) is simply ludicrous.

IGN got it right when they called PS3 cheer up of the year, and pubs like PC World simply ignore and fizzle out to mention at all the price gouging M$ blithely plops on it’s customers.

I gave away my 360 and all it’s games (the tucker of which I can play on PS3 anyway) this week, happy to be rid of something representative of such a disgustingly exploitive workout. No exclusive games are on the horizon for it which even moderately interest me, and it’s focus on relations Kinect titles (which is the main reason PC World recommended it above Wii and PS3) is just now indicative of where it will be focused for the rest of this gen.
